How Our Network Works
Request an estimate
Who you talk to
When you reach out through Laurablood Mold Help, you are not hiring us. You are being linked with an independent local provider from our network. That provider is a separate business. They inspect, test and clean up mold. You deal with them directly on scheduling, pricing and the work itself.
What happens after you send a request
It is a short path:
- You share your town and what you see.
- We match you with a provider who serves your area.
- The provider contacts you to talk details and set up a visit.
- You get a written quote, and you decide.
Timing depends on the provider and the day. Many providers can respond quickly, but we cannot promise a time. Request a callback to check provider availability if you want to ask.
What you can do while you wait
Keep it simple and safe. Dry it first. Stop the water source if you can, like a dripping pipe or a damp towel pile. Run a fan or dehumidifier. Keep kids and pets away from the spot. Do not scrub or spray bleach on a large patch, and do not disturb it, since that can spread spores. Take a few photos. They help with your quote and any insurance claim.
What to ask a provider
A good provider will not mind questions. Try these:
- Are you licensed where required, and what mold training do you hold?
- Will you look for the moisture source, not just the mold?
- Do you test the air or surfaces, and what will the results tell me?
- What does the quote include, in writing?
- How do you keep mold from spreading to other rooms?
- What should I do afterward to keep it from coming back?
If you want certified mold testing, ask what certifications apply and who will do the sampling. Costs vary by job. Typical U.S. ranges run from a few hundred dollars for an inspection to several thousand for larger cleanup, so get a written quote.
You are in control
Sending a request does not lock you in. You can compare quotes, ask for a second opinion or walk away. Nobody should pressure you.
